From your seat to your two documents
Nothing to install and nothing to set up. You sign in with your seat code, answer a few questions, upload your screenplay, and the read runs on the house’s own server.
The steps
Your seat, when SRV opens
When SRV opens, press the seat button at the door. The house counts the seats at that moment: while one of the first five is left, you give your name and email and your seat is free; after that the same button takes you to checkout — $299.95 for a feature screenplay. Your seat code appears on your screen once. Press Copy or Save my code, tick “I’ve saved my seat code”, and only then does Continue to my read appear.
The box at the top of the door is where your code goes. Come back to srv.lovingmywords.com/door, paste your seat code in the box at the top, and press Sign In.
Answer the questions
Is this the script you mean to have read? Is it your original work, or are you authorized to submit it? Have you used AI on any part of it? Then, if you wish, the title, the writer’s name, what you are aiming for, and the films you see yours standing beside. A “no” to either of the first two stops here, in a plain sentence, with your seat kept and nothing spent.
Upload your screenplay as a PDF
The page count the read reports comes from the PDF itself, so upload the PDF your screenwriting software exports. The house checks it before your seat is used for anything: English only for now; a feature of 90–120 pages is the professional lane; 121–125 pages is read in full with a Page-Length Flag; over 125 pages is not read. A television script is held until the television lane opens. Each of these answers is given before anything is spent.
Begin the read
Once your read begins, it works quietly on our server until your documents are ready — you can close this page. The door shows how far along it is, part by part — and no clock, because a read works through every page and every check before anything is delivered.
Collect your documents
THE SCRIPT VERDICT and THE SCREEN ELEVATION BRIEF, each as a Word document and as a web page. To download them again later: Come back to srv.lovingmywords.com/door, paste your seat code in the box at the top, and press Sign In.

How the read reads
The read begins by finding the shape of your script from the PDF itself: its pages, its scene headings, its format and lane. It then reads the whole script in order, keeping running ledgers — the scenes, the characters, what is set up and what is paid off, what the audience knows against what the characters know, the viewer’s state — so that a finding on page 80 can name the page 20 it depends on.
Before anything reaches you, every quotation is checked against your own page, every page-and-scene reference is checked against the scene it names, and every count is re-derived from the findings it counts. A line that cannot be proven from your pages is removed, never delivered unproven, and THE SCRIPT VERDICT says so in plain words in its About This Read. The house keeps its own record of the read behind the door, so your two documents can stay simple — and they are never held back for the house’s own bookkeeping.
Writing in another language? It’s coming.
Today The Script Reader's Verdict reads scripts written in English. Native-language reads are coming soon, and each language opens only once it has been proven on real screenplays written in it. If you would like to hear the moment yours opens, write to us: support@lovingmywords.com.
