The Script Reader’s Verdict

A professional screen-experience review before your script faces the industry.

The first five

The first five seats are free

Five writers receive a complete First Draft Review of one feature screenplay at no cost — the same read, the same two documents, the same standard a paying writer receives.

Opening soon

SRV opens to writers after its first outside reads. Nothing is for sale yet.

Both halves, stated plainly

What you get, and what it costs you

What you get

A complete read of one feature screenplay, every page in order, and both documents: THE SCRIPT VERDICT and THE SCREEN ELEVATION BRIEF. Nothing is held back from a free seat.

What it costs you

Nothing. No payment, no card, no account to open anywhere else. If you would like to tell us how it went, we would love to hear it — only after your documents are in your hands, and entirely voluntary.

The rules of the free seats

  • Five seats, issued in the order writers press the seat button, once SRV opens. When they are gone, the door says so.
  • One free seat for each writer — one for each email address.
  • A free seat reads a feature screenplay. The television lane opens soon. Until it does, no television seat is sold and no television script is read.
  • One seat reads one script, your own or one you are authorized to submit.
How to take a seat

One button

When SRV opens, press the seat button at the door. While one of the five is left, give your name and your email and your seat code appears on your screen, once. Press Copy or Save my code, tick “I’ve saved my seat code”, and press Continue to my read. Come back to srv.lovingmywords.com/door, paste your seat code in the box at the top, and press Sign In.

When the five are gone, the same button offers the next seat: $299.95 for a feature screenplay.

Writing in another language? It’s coming.

Today The Script Reader's Verdict reads scripts written in English. Native-language reads are coming soon, and each language opens only once it has been proven on real screenplays written in it. If you would like to hear the moment yours opens, write to us: support@lovingmywords.com.
